"Pioneer" is a great kid's horse and has done it all. He was a ranch horse on a saddle string as a youngster and a team roping horse later on. More recently, has been used as a saddle horse and pack horse to go elk hunting. He is getting too old to go to the mountains and now needs a home where he can live out his life as a kid's horse or inexperienced rider's horse or just somebody looking for a bombproof horse that is extremely responsive. He needs extra care in the winter to keep weight on him. He was blanketed and got sick so he didn't do too well this last winter. A place where he can be stalled in the winter would be ideal. We are a small paint horse operation and need to downsize our horses and Pioneer needs more than we can give him. The price is negotiable to a good home. He needs a home tat can take the extra time and money to keep him looking good. He is out on pasture this summer and looks great.
