La Chocolate is a very talented young horse, with loads of athleticism. La chocolate has an extremly well mannered, easy going and eager to please temperament . She has exceptional movement with tons of suspension. At only two weeks under saddle she was quick to learn leg yields, shoulder in and jumping. Her incredible balance allows her to change leads effortlessly. She has always been ridden in a happy mouth snaffle (even at the shows) and is very accepting of the leg to hand connection. She clips, baths, trails, trailers and has never had any health issues.

Her first show season began in the summer of 2009 and has competed in four shows. She began in 2'9 and 0.9m where she placed 2nd, 4th and 8th in all her classes at her very first show. She has also been in the equitation ring and placed 2nd out of approx. 26 horses. She ended in the 1.10 where she did the 4 Year Old Canadian Development Series (1.10m) and was 4 and 5. In 2010 she is ready and eager to begin 1.20m.

Of special note, Le Chocolate is bred double Calypso II. She was bred with frozen semen from Le Primeur, a stallion now standing at Spruce Meadows. His Character, confirmation and performance have been his trademarks in establishing both first rate breeding and competitive results since his impressive championship in the 2000 Adelheidsdorf Stallion licensing.
